EF Fittings
Description
Plasson's SmartFuse Electrofusion (EF) range is designed for civil water, gas and wastewater PE pipeline systems. SmartFuse fittings have built-in resistors that automatically feed correct weld parameters to the control box – eliminating manual data entry and input errors. The range covers DN20 to large bore sizes and includes couplers, elbows, tees, saddles, end caps, adaptors and specialist geothermal and wastewater fittings. EF installation must be carried out by certified installers.

| Elbows | EF elbows for directional changes including 90°, 45°, 22.5°, 15° and 30° angles. LightFit, adjustable (one and two side), duckfoot and duckfoot-with-outlet variants available. |
| Tees | EF tees for branching PE pipelines. Equal tees, reducing tees (single and double outlet), full-faced hydrant tees and ductile iron flanged tees available across the range. |
| Branch & Tapping Saddles | EF saddles for live tapping into pressurised mains. Includes branch saddle with underpart, large bore saddle, tapping saddle, LightFit tapping saddle, transition saddles, repair saddles and full-faced hydrant saddles. |
| End Caps & Plugs | Sealing fittings for pipe terminations. Available as monolithic end cap, standard end cap and plug. |
| Adaptors & Transitions | Male and female EF transition couplings in brass and stainless steel, including 45° and 90° elbow transitions, for connecting PE pipe to threaded metallic systems. |
| Geothermal & Wastewater Systems | Specialist EF fittings for geothermal loop and wastewater applications including reducing tees, Y-reducers, 180° elbows, wastewater saddles, adjustable elbows and manhole adaptors. |
