Description

Plasson distributes the SIMONA range of large-bore PE spigot fittings and flanges in Australia. SIMONA is a world-renowned German manufacturer known for technically superior, large-dimension pipe fittings that are fully pressure-resistant. The range covers DN20 to DN1200 and is suited to civil water infrastructure, mining, plant construction, water treatment, quarrying and marine applications. Long spigot versions allow welding with electrofusion sockets even at large diameters.

Large Bore Category Technical Details & Applications
Short Spigot – Stub Flanges Injection-moulded stub flanges in standard, ANSI and chamfered versions. Available from d450 to d800/900mm. Ideal for bolted flange connections in plant construction, quarrying and supply infrastructure.
Short Spigot – Concentric Reducers, Tees, Bends & End Caps Short spigot versions of core pipeline fittings. Injection-moulded bends up to d450/500mm. Very good hydraulic properties. Suited to industrial and water treatment applications.
Long Spigot – Stub Flanges & Reducers Stub flanges and concentric reducers with extended spigots for EF socket welding in sizes d450–630mm. Used in water treatment, mining and infrastructure.
Long Spigot – Tees & Reducing Tees Equal and reducing tees with long spigots for EF welding. Injection-moulded d560mm and d630mm options. Proven in water management, plant construction and marine applications.
Long Spigot – Elbows & Sweep Bends 90° and 45° elbows plus sweep bends (11°, 22°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°) with long spigots for large-bore directional changes in civil and industrial pipeline systems.
Flanges – Table D, Table E, PN16, PN21, PN35, ANSI 150# Full range of backing flanges in galvanised and 316 stainless steel. Covers Table D, Table E, PN16, PN21, PN35 and ANSI 150# pressure ratings. Full face flanges also available.
