Metric Compression Fittings
Description
PLASSON Metric Compression Fittings are precision-engineered for plumbing, civil, commercial and mining (MineSafe) applications. Available from 16mm to 160mm, they connect PE pipe to copper, PVC, galvanised and steel pipe. The MineSafe range meets the demanding requirements of underground and surface mining environments. Captive O-ring technology ensures an instant seal, with a grip ring providing superior pull-out resistance.

| Elbow (90° & 45°) | Directional change fittings in 90° and 45° configurations. Available in standard, MineSafe, reducing, male-threaded, female-threaded and wallplate versions for a wide range of installation scenarios. |
| Tee | Three-way branching fitting in equal, reducing, increasing, slip/repair, riser and threaded (male and female) options. MineSafe versions available for underground and mining use. |
| Male & Female Adaptors | Connect metric poly pipe to BSP-threaded fittings, valves and appliances. Available in standard, MineSafe, brass-threaded, universal and barrel union configurations. |
| Poly to Copper Connectors | Transition fittings for joining metric PE pipe directly to copper tube. Available as straight connector, tee, elbow, stopcock and kit sets. |
| Poly to PVC / Polybutylene Connectors | Dedicated transition fittings for connecting metric PE pipe to PVC or polybutylene pipe without additional adaptors. |
| Flanged Fittings | Couplings and adaptors with metal backing flanges for bolted connections in pump sets, meters and civil installations. Reduced compression flange also available. |
| MineSafe Range | Full suite of metric compression fittings – couplings, elbows, tees, adaptors, plugs and inserts – designed specifically for mine-site conditions. Available in 63mm to 125mm and are Fully Thrusted and designed for PN 16 water or PN 10 compressed air. |
| Inserts & Reducing Sets | Polypropylene inserts support thin-wall pipe inside the fitting. Reducing sets allow a single fitting body to accommodate different pipe sizes, minimising stock requirements. |
| Conversion Kits | Metric-to-rural and rural-to-metric conversion kits allow seamless transition between pipe systems without replacing entire fittings. |
